My parents’ relationship began through a series of letters they exchanged after first meeting in Florida in 1955. Over the course of 18 months, they wrote nearly a thousand letter while Dad was on an aircraft carrier in the Pacific and Mom was in Florida and Tennessee. They were married in 1957. The audio portrait I produced in 2007 describes how they fell in love through those letters and how they have remained in love since then.
