Mark Sheldon was a classical music host on Colorado Public Radio. He developed a rare cancer and fought it for many years. But in 2003, Mark died. As he was entering his final days, I interviewed him about his life and love of music. Mark didn’t want this interview to be about him, and he certainly didn’t want it to appear maudlin or morose. And so, with just a matter of days remaining before his death, Mark spoke of life.
Kelley Griffin helped produce this interview, which won the prestigious National Headliner Award in 2004.
